Health check
A health check in Shanghai or Beijing is a stack of timed appointments, not a spa day with labs attached. The visit people drop is the one where a doctor walks through the report.

The appointment that gets dropped
Fasting bloodwork is early. Imaging fills the late morning. A physician visit to read the report is a different slot, often the next day, and it is the slot that disappears if you only held two nights. Ask for that visit before you lock the flight home. A PDF in your inbox is not the same conversation.
If you already have scans or bloodwork from home, say which year and which language in the first email. Old discs that nobody can open will cost you a day. So will a report that names a finding and never says whether it was followed up.
What to send before anyone prices a hotel
- The questions you want answered, in one short list. Three is enough.
- Medicines, doses, and allergies.
- Prior reports you actually want compared, with dates.
- The morning you can fast, and the evening you must fly.
- Whether a companion needs to hear the report in your language.
