IVF

An IVF cycle does not fold into a sightseeing week. Eligibility is a letter from the hospital, not a paragraph on this site.

Eligibility is a hospital letter

Chinese hospitals apply their own rules, including rules about marriage and whose documents are in the file. Those rules change, and they are not ours to interpret. Ask the hospital, in writing, whether they can treat you. If they will not answer before you book flights, that is the answer. Do not use a forum thread as a substitute.

We coordinate appointments and translation. We do not pick a protocol, a drug, or a clinic that ‘usually says yes.’

Monitoring does not compress

A first conversation can be a bounded trip: records, a consult, and a written view of whether a cycle in that hospital is even possible. Stimulation, retrieval, and transfer are a different trip, with visits on the hospital’s calendar. A partner may need to be physically present on specific days. Ask that before you travel alone.

  • Prior cycle summaries, not only a diagnosis in one line.
  • The questions you need answered in this visit, separated from the treatment you hope happens later.
  • Who must be in the room, and on which days.
  • Where you will do bloodwork if the hospital sends you out.
  • A plan for staying longer if monitoring says so. A non-changeable flight home is a bad plan.

Guangzhou is a city we plan other treatments in. It is not where this desk talks through IVF. That is a limit of our work, not a statement about hospitals in Guangzhou.
